WIZnet, established in 1998, is a prominent leader in networking technology. Known for its innovative hardware-based TCP/IP technology, WIZnet has transformed Ethernet connectivity, making their chips a top choice for diverse applications. With a focus on high performance, low power consumption, and robust security, WIZnet continues to be a trusted name in the industry.

Expanding Capabilities with W55RP20

WIZnet's dedication to innovation has led to the development of the new W55RP20 chip, designed to cover all layers of the OSI model.

Traditionally, WIZnet's chips have integrated TCP/IP, MAC, and PHY, effectively covering the first four layers of the OSI model. However, recognizing the need for more comprehensive solutions in today's complex networking environments, WIZnet developed the W55RP20. This advanced chip not only maintains the high standards of its predecessors but also extends its capabilities to encompass all seven OSI layers, providing a more complete and robust networking solution. This breakthrough allows for enhanced functionality and efficiency in a wide range of applications, further solidifying WIZnet's position as a leader in the industry.

W55RP20 main features
